Summer 2015

Its privileged location in the heart of the Pyrenees and three natural parks make Andorra is a paradise for mountain lovers. The country has 3 protected natural areas for their great value: Madriu-Perafita-Claror (World Heritage Site by UNESCO), the Natural Park Sorteny Valley and the Natural Park of the Valleys of Comapedrosa.

In-Apartments Aparthotel La Neu we recommend Ordino Valley for hiking. Ordino offers a large network of hiking trails and routes to make with friends and family. For the more adventurous hikers there are also a large number of peaks close to 3,000 meters that will make you live the best feelings. In the valley of Ordino find the ski resort of Ordino-Arcalis (Vallnord), one of the hallmarks of the area and one of the undisputed reference for mountain tourism. Another attraction is the Natural Park Sorteny Valley, a botanist and rich natural paradise example of preservation of biodiversity and natural heritage.

In our village, Llorts, the Ruta del Hierro, we will look back at the world of steel, the main economic activity in Andorra between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries.
